An Introduction to Two-Colour Brioche Knitting
Date: Sunday 14th June 2026

Learn this amazing knitting technique to create a wonderfully squishy fabric. We’ll cover the basics of the two-colour brioche stitch and the terminology. We’ll also explore a brioche increase and two simple decreases to create geometric shapes in your brioche swatch. This is an intermediate class. Students need to be able to cast on, knit and purl confidently and be able to follow a written pattern. Yarn and handouts are included. Students need to bring 5mm circular needles (60-80cm) and a pen or pencil. Circular needles are essential for two-colour brioche knitting, even when knitting flat.
Needle Felting for Fuzzy First Timers

A needle felting workshop for all abilities. We will be creating this amazing Tree Frog model. The cute little frog can be used as a mobile, or a sitting character. All of the wools, tools and other resources will be provided in the workshop which will be two hours in duration.
Don’t worry if you think you won’t be able to complete your project, we will provide you with additional information and supplies to take away. It’s going to be great fun!
Tunisian Crochet for Beginners

Get started with this exciting new skill. We will cover the basics of Tunisian crochet, including how to get started, three types of stitch and how to finish off your project. During the class we will practice the stitches on a small swatch. The class includes instructions and yarn to make a cowl or mitts using the stitches you have learnt.
Drop Spindle Basics
Date: Saturday 13th June 2026 or Sunday 14th June 2026
Duration: 90 minutes

Learn the basics of drop spindle spinning. We will cover drafting and adding twist using a drop spindle to make yarn. We will also talk about plying and finishing your yarn. You will go home with a kit, including a drop spindle, British wool fibre and instructions so you can practice your new skills at home.
Woolly Wire Creations
Date: Saturday 13th June 2026 or Sunday 14th June 2026
Duration: 2 hours

Create a treasured piece for your home or as a gift. You’ll learn how to use a knitting mill (like a knitting dolly but much faster) to create a long i-cord. You’ll then combine this with craft wire and shape your piece using a choice of templates.
Suitable for attendees aged 8 and up, however children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
