What’s your favourite product of yours and why?
My favourite product at the moment has to be the preparations for the forthcoming shows,new colourways etc.
What yarn crafts are you into personally?
I have a crafty streak and so have dabbled in quilting,crochetNeedlecrafts,tapestries but my first love is knitting.
What’s your favourite project you’ve ever made?
My favourite project so far has to be between socks and my lovenote I couldn’t possibly choose.
If you came to TWM back in 2019 what did you like/dislike most about it?
The Wool monty in 2019 was such a great show to vend at, we got nothing but positive vibes from customers.The venue being so spacious and catering for all.
What inspires your products?
My inspiration can come from anywhere but living in the countryside has its advantages.
What’s the hardest part of what you do?
The hardest part of my job has to be the technical side of things,computers aren’t my thing, give me dyes and yarn anyday!!
What’s your favourite part of yarn shows?
Without a doubt the favourite part of yarn shows is the social side,talking to customers and vendors alike,ive so missed this, this year.
What yarn craft do you wish you were good at?
If I could be better at any yarn craft it would be to knit faster, with all the samples etc.
Tell us 3 things we might not know about you
Three things you might not know about me,I used to do ballroom dancing as a girl,I don’t like spiders and wasps,and I do like sci fi and fantasy films etc.
Do you tend to go for repeatable lines or one-off products? What’s your longest-running product, range or colourway?
I do lots of one of a kind colourways and repeatable ones, rust bucket has been with me from the beginning and I think peony is here to stay too.
Can you give us any hints of things you’ve got coming up soon?
Coming soon will be many show colours I think,along with my advents for Christmas which are available already plus other seasonal sets too.
Do you have regular subscriptions or clubs? If so tell us about them
I have a couple of subscritions running at the moment.A mystery minis club which is very affordable and gives people a chance to sample my most popular base sw merino nylon 4ply.A 150 mystery monthly club which contains 150g 4ply in various sets which is a mystery too 3x50g or 100 plus 50g etc.Both are purchase a month at a time so you can jump on board anytime.
And finally, just for fun, would you rather fight 100 chicken-sized zombies or 10 zombie-sized chickens?
100 chicken sized zombies would be my choice hopefully dressed in knitted jumpers!!!!!
