Giggly Llama’s aim in life is to give you that twinkly sparkly knitting feeling whatever you’re doing, even when you don’t have time to knit or crochet all day.
How cool would that be though?!

And so Giggly Llama Knitting was born, to create lovely things full of knitting goodness to brighten even the dullest day. Selling my designs and getting lovely feedback was a huge part of my recovery, and never stops being rewarding.
From the start I’ve wanted Giggly Llama to be whimsical and playful, creating cards and gifts which will make you smile with those jokes that only other yarn addicts will appreciate! Everyone has tricky times, and knitting and crochet have an amazingly therapeutic effect for lots of us. So if my designs can brighten up a bad day, or make a good one excellent, then I have achieved what I set out to do!
I’m so excited to meet you in June – do pop along and treat yourself or a friend so you can enjoy that twinkly sparkly feeling all day long!

At Knitted Knockers UK we want women to know that there is a lightweight, 100% cotton alternative that takes the form of a real breast and is soft against the skin and is breathable.
Each Knocker is made with love and filled with hope, and we provide them FREE OF CHARGE to those ladies who need it.
We have a team based around the UK who are experienced in knitting and crochet. They give their time voluntarily to handcraft each knocker to each personalised request.
Our Aqua Knockers are also popular for short term wear and allow ladies to swim in confidence.

We are a couple of MAD Scientist who used to work in Contract Testing Laboratories but now for our sins work in IT, therefore as the day job no longer allows experimenting we decided to do this with yarn instead.
We specialise in dyeing yarn with science themes and all notions / project bags tend to follow this but you can expect some pseudo science on occasion – think Unicorn Fart as a colourway!!
Every single item we sell donates to charity, the amount varies from as little as £1 from pins / stitch markers, £3 from yarn and up to £5 from large project bags.
Our charity changes on a regular basis but in 15 months we have raised over £5000, with a significant amount going to MIND. Raising money for charity is why we started this crazy idea and the reason why we continue doing it around our busy day jobs.
Made by Penguins
Made by Penguins is a Hand-Dyed Yarn company, specialising in Baby Alpaca (lace to chunky) all yarns are hand-dyed using a variety of techniques but always with creations in mind. Please come & say hi to our giant UV penguin, Brian
Marina dyes single-source, natural fibre yarns by hand in rich, subtle colours. She works with local farms in Somerset and UK mills to create unique yarns, and designs modern, wearable knitting patterns.
Marina started dyeing yarn in 2015 and focuses on British fibres and working closely with local farms and small businesses. Her current main yarn ranges are spun from fibre sourced within 25 miles of her home studio in Bath. Mendip (4-Ply and DK) is slightly rustic, woollen-spun yarn dyed in rich semi-solid colours. Caia Baby Alpaca is a very light 4-ply, and is dyed in variegated jewel tones that complement the subtle sheen of the soft yarn. As well as the repeatable colours, Marina also dyes very small batches using foraged and saved plant dyes, and sells unique skeins of hand-spun yarn.
The knitting patterns Marina designs are intended to be fun to knit and easy to wear, often featuring interesting texture or colourwork, and geometric, structural elements.
Max Alexander makes jewellery for crafters and hand knits moths. She’s been making jewellery featuring miniature balls of wool and tiny hooks & needles since 2009. The brooches, necklaces and earrings are a great way to show off your love of craft. In 2014 she discovered the wonderful world of moths and has been spreading the word that moths aren’t all bad ever since. The colours and patterns are fantastic if painstaking to knit. Max’s hand knitted moths are available in frames or printed onto a range of cards & jewellery.
It’s no secret that I love yarn. I love the feeling of it, I love the textures, the colours, the patterns and the infinite possibilies.
I want to be able to enjoy it all year round, when the sun is shining and it’s too warm for shawls, sweaters and hand knit socks. Or when hand knit coziness doesn’t feel possible for whatever reason.
So now I make jewellery. I knit, with tiny needles and lace or cobweb yarns, to make lightweight necklaces and more that you can wear any time you need a little yarny fix. Each piece is hand knit by me, and is a complete piece of knitting. No cut edges to unravel, no machine knits or factory made pieces. Cast on to cast off, from yarn choice to washing and blocking.
I knit cables and fairisle, and some of the most gorgeous hand dyed yarns from UK independant dye artists. I use needles made especially for miniature knitting which are usually between 0.5 and 1mm, and often have a gauge of 30 stitches/2.5cm or finer.
Come take a look, and maybe you’ll find something to help you get your yarn fix when you normally couldn’t.
Mothy and the Squid
Mothy and the Squid hand dye ethically sourced premium yarn. As well as popular merino and bluefaced leicester yarn bases, this year we have added a greater variety of wools and other fibres to our range. We also have several recent design collaborations that allow us to offer kits with both yarn and patterns together.
As a dyer, I am drawn to the exquisite brights of nature. We display photographs of each inspiration alongside its interpretation in yarn form. I think it is my ability to distill the key colours accurately and present them using up to date dye techniques that attracts the eye. Our colours are vibrant and often unusual, because nature is full of remarkable beauty.
We use acid dyes to exhaustion for colour fastness and to minimise chemical waste. Wherever possible we re-use water, heat and packaging, and we’re working to improve our environmental impact further. We support two charities, one anti-bullying and one anti-racist. We actively encourage other dyers and crafters and often promote them for free. Additionally, we use giveaways as a tool to reach new customers whilst offering something back to those who participate instead of paying big business for advertising.

Purl Alpaca Designs
We sell a range of wool yarns including Bluefaced Leicester, Wensleydale, and Jacob, which we hand dye in our studio in rural Northamptonshire. We have a strong focus on sustainably-sourced natural fibres and a high quality product that crafters want to use and enjoy. RiverKnits wool yarn is all sourced from British breeds and much of it is spun in the UK too. We take a lot of inspiration from our life on the UK canal and river network and customers often describe our colours as “earthy.” We’ve been dyeing for a number of years and our expertise enables us to produce highly repeatable, very wearable, tonal and variegated colourways.
RiverKnits is jointly run by Becci and Markus. We both knit and crochet, and we love wool! We first started dyeing yarn at home on our narrowboat, which was moored on the River Nene at the time. We both left our high-pressure corporate engineering jobs, which enabled us to work at our own pace while exploring the UK waterways, and to spend time with our young son. After a couple of years, the business grew and we moved into our studio. We reclaimed the boat fully as our living space, which continues to be a great source of inspiration.
Since RiverKnits began, we have had the pleasure of being involved in collaborations with other yarn businesses. In 2018, Woolly Wormhead launched a pattern collection featuring our yarn. Most recently, we were commissioned to hand dye a limited edition Exmoor Sock yarn collection for John Arbon Textiles. We also have a number of stockists, mostly in the UK, but also in Germany and the US.
Rockamolly is the brainfart of Molly Smith, creating quirky and irreverent art prints, stationery and accessories for hard core yarn fondlers. Sew Can Sue
Bags and accessories, including my new range of project bags, handmade by myself with care and attention to detail, in my home sewing studio in sunny South Yorkshire.
The majority of my creations use beautiful Harris Tweed, which I source directly from weavers on the Outer Hebrides. I particularly favour the bright and unusual tweeds that the independent weavers specialise in producing, and as I rarely make the exact same bag twice my bags are perfect if you don’t want to follow the crowd.
I complement the tweed by using good quality hardware and leather accents for a luxurious finish.

The Corner of Craft
Hannah sews tiny beads together, one by one, to create cute stitch markers. They’re lightweight and durable (and removable!), making them ideal for all yarn crafts. She also dyes bright and vibrant yarn, under the name Chromatic Yarns. Her fun colours are inspired by the monsters and spells found in the tabletop game, Dungeons and Dragons.
The Craft Firm
We run a herd of alpacas from our farm in the Forest of Bowland. Each year after shearing, we scour, sort, and carefully grade their fleece by hand. The finest, beautifully soft fleece is handspun into yarn, which may be left as natural colours or hand-dyed in slo-cookers. Some is blended with wool from local sheep or with silk. We sell the limited edition yarns, knitting kits, or handmade knitted and crocheted accessories.
The best of the remaining fleece is chosen for either wet felting or needle felting, and is made into a variety of cushions, felted decorations, and greetings cards.
Washed and carded alpaca fleece for handspinning or felting is also available.
We love to see the whole process through from feeding and caring for our alpacas every day, to seeing every bit of their very special fleece being used in one way or another. Homegrown and handmade!

Donna is passionate about the wellbeing effects that crochet can bring to our busy lives and loves helping people find their ‘crojo’.
The Dye Shack
The Dye Shack has been in business for just over four years. What began as a hobby in my little kitchen quickly grew into something much, much bigger. I, (Naomi) am a sock knitter at heart and started dyeing yarn for myself but quickly realised I was dyeing much faster than I could knit or crochet and to be honest, I loved dyeing even more than I enjoy knitting.
These days I can be found dyeing beautiful, squishy yarn in my studio at the bottom of my garden in the Somerset countryside. I’m passionate about colour, especially bright, ‘catch your eye’ colours. I get my inspiration from books, music, tv, my love of myth and magic, and of course the beauty that is Mother Nature.
The majority of colourways from The Dye Shack are highly saturated with deep, dark or bright colours. I use professional, colourfast, acid dyes. When dyeing I use my two favourite dye methods, hand painting each skein individually or low immersion dyeing where I pour dye over the yarn in trays and let fate decide how the colours should settle.
All the yarns dyed in The Dye Shack are ethically sourced, my own preferred fibre of choice is merino and all the merino I dye comes from non-mulesing farms.
The Fibre Fox
Georgie of The Fibre Fox hand dyes beautiful, quality yarns from her home studio in Lincolnshire. Inspired by anything from nature to her love of fantasy films, she has colours to delight every knitters taste. Also available are gorgeous handmade cotton project bags, perfect for keeping your knitting or crochet projects safe and tidy.
The Knitting Companion
The Knitting Companion design books to save time in planning your project, enabling you to record your progress, making adjustments as you work, so you have the necessary information in one place. They are bound with coated wire so they can lie flat. “The Knitter’s Companion” has project pages, essential yarn information, a project record, graph paper for colourwork and construction, sections to note favourite podcasts, yarn shows, online yarn shops, and note pages. Following it’s success, “The Crocheter’s Companion” was introduced with project pages, a laminated removable colour wheel, and a mindfulness exercise too. Other versions in a travel kit complement the range. New for 2020 is “My Knitting Diary”, a page to a week diary with essential knitting information. The books can be printed on coloured paper if required to meet any visual or dyslexic needs.

The Project Bagís premise is to provide beautiful hand-made tools and hand-dyed yarns for crafters, particularly those in the fibre arts, to enable them to pursue their passion. I hand-make my project bags, and crochet hook cases, using hand-sewing to finish them neatly. In addition, I make stitch markers and I have a range of knitting patterns available, including the ‘My Daughter Socks’: a pattern designed to raise money for Bliss, the charity for the newborn. Finally, I hand-dye yarns: speckles, semi-solids and variegated are all popular on four bases: merino/nylon 4ply; merino/cashmere/nylon aran; 100% merino DK; and merino/silk lace-weight.
A teacher by trade, I’ve also had such fun bringing knitting and crochet to a whole host of beginners in my local town in Kent, and feel very proud as they start off on their creative journeys.
The Woolly Tangle
I believe that crafting should be a joyful, stress reducing activity! All my products are designed for functionality first, stitch markers are as non snag as possible, project bags are designed for different sized projects (sock, shawl, sweater etc) to give a range which suits everyone. My yarn dyeing is heavily influenced by the natural environment around me as are my patterns. I try and keep to simple stitches within my patterns so that they are as accessible as possible for all levels of knitter. I choose yarn bases so they mix & match with the patterns, in terms of yardage & thickness, to give the same results every time so you can pick a yarn which suits your preferences (& pocket!). The range of patterns available is slowly growing!

Crochet Artist, King Cole Yarns Stockist & Home of The Yarnsmith Crochet Clubs Subscription Boxes.
My name is Hayley, I’m 25 and I live in Nottinghamshire with my partner and our 7 chickens. My business is my hobby-gone-mad and is born from my love of crochet, my addiction to hoarding yarn and my passion for supporting small businesses and crafters. As well as my wide selection of yarns, craft supplies and crochet kits, the most exciting thing I have to offer is my Crochet Club subscription boxes – monthly boxes of crochet goodies, each supplied by independent craftspeople and small businesses. I have two subscription boxes on offer – “The Variety Box” which is designed to showcase as many beautiful products as possible from my team of over 20 small biz/independent crafter suppliers; and “The Smiley Box” – a smaller, more simple box focussed around me time, relaxation and self care. I also regularly offer one-off, limited edition boxes in addition to your regular subscription, themed for example around certain holidays throughout the year or supporting certain charities, as well as a Crochet Club Advent Calendar!

At VeganYarn.co.uk, we are a small home based business offering a range of plant-based, ethically sourced fibres.
Sourcing sustainable, ethical, and where possible, recycled non-animal based fibres, we only use vegan products in our dying process and are opposed to the use of plastics both in our yarn and our packaging.
All fibres can be purchased undyed or hand-dyed, painted or speckled.
We understand many of our fibres may not be well known or widely used, and so if you have any questions about any of our fibres, or wish to request a sample, please get in touch.

Wool is the Answer
You may ask why we are called Wool is the Answer? For us the answer is simple, as crafters of many things, there is no question to which wool is not the answer!
We are based in Lincolnshire, where we have a small studio in which we create our hand dyed yarns. We specialise in vibrant colours on different yarn bases. These are all sourced from a family run British company.
We have collaborated with Knitterish Designs, a local artist, who felt inspired by our yarn and created us an exclusive range of knitting patterns.
Although our store is online, we also run regular knit and natter groups around Lincoln, where you can also buy our yarns. We occasionally hold pop up events, and exhibit at wool festivals.
When you buy our yarn online you will receive a brown paper package tied up with string (these are a few of our favourite things!). Our mailbags are also 100% recyclable.
We cake all of our skeins so you don’t have to, which means you can start creating straight away. #we bake, we cake, you make!
We specialise in 100% homegrown British wool made from the fleeces of our own flock of sheep. Our flock are native British sheep, lovingly cared for in Yorkshire, and raised to the highest standards. We use their fleeces to give us our unique colour variations and softness. It is totally unique so it means that your projects will have that special feeling every time you use it. We are also delighted to say that we now have opened ‘Maddy’s Mill’, where we process fleeces into carded slivers for hand spinning.
